Sweet Paul?

Welcome to the very first Holiday Issue of Sweet Paul Magazine.

It’s kind of crazy to think that it was one year ago that I had the idea of creating a magazine… and yet, here we are. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun—and fun is exactly what it’s all about here at Sweet Paul. I’ve had one awesome experience followed by another while making this issue, and for me, the merriment has been put back into the holidays.

When someone works as a stylist (as I do), the season begins in August— Christmas trees need to be decorated; wreaths need to be hung—all in the name of a perfect holiday shoot. I have to admit that while putting on all that good cheer in the middle of summer makes it a little challenging to recreate it again in December. And for many years I just couldn’t do it: I didn’t decorate; I didn’t feel the joy.

But I’m happy to say that this issue has changed all of that for me and has made me realize what a great time of year this can be. Working on each page—piece by piece, bit by bit—has made all the difference. This December, I will put up the tree and hang the mistletoe!
