Liver treats Makes 1/2 pound of treats
1 pound beef liver Water, for boiling
woof!
Rinse the liver well in cold water.
In a large pot, bring water to a
boil and add the liver.
Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes
until well done.
Drain and cool.
Cut liver into 1/2-inch cubes.
Spread on a foil-lined cookie
sheet and bake at 250˚F
for at least 2 hours.
The liver is done when it’s dry
to the touch and has shrunk to
1/4-inch cubes.
Store in a sealed container.
