Last summer I watched my sons and
friends play a game of Manhunt in our
back yard. They had draped themselves
in branches, twigs, leaves and vines for
camouflage. They looked great. There
was an individual fashion to each one of
them. This gave me an idea. Two very
creative mothers, Luz Montes and Dana
Bos, brought paint and glue, and we
spent the day with local boys and girls
photographing them as tribal kids
living in an enchanted forest.
